Did you mean:

HTTP, SOAP over HTTP on same port

I am trying to configure a software service and on checking the traffic with a filter on the IP, it lists more than one protocol for the same IP on the same Port.

For instance:

10.230.92.95 14500   HTTP, SOAP over HTTP...
This is an IP for a Load Balancer for Tibco machines, there are over 20 different ports and they all range from HTTP to XML over HTTP and SOAP over HTTP and in several occasions one port will have more than one protocol.
What is the solution in such case? How do we define "One" software service for the Load Balancer? Or is that impossible?

If you didn't want to monitor the SOAP transactions*, you could define the whole lot as one HTTP service.

If the SOAP transactions were more important than any regular HTTP transaction, use the SOAP or XML analysers.

*You can (it's documented on the community here) get some basic SOAP transaction details using the HTTP analyser, so you can almost have the best of both worlds.
