Has anybody implemented SAP based application (SSL) in DCRUM?

We have deployed the SSL key in DCRUM for this SAP based application but somehow we are not able to see any operation. The count is zero in "All other operations."

We are not sure whether key is correct or not but when I ran "show ssldecr keys" it shows key is matched.

Akshay

Did your SAP Application is using only SSL encryption for sure? I know customers who are using SNC encryption for their SAP applications.

How did you configured the software service? SAP Analyzer or SSL Analyzer?

Best regards,
Friederike

Hello Friederike,

Yes the SAP application is surely using SSL. They are using web dispatcher & on which the key is deployed. I'm have used HTTPS analyzer for software service configuration.

Akshay

Can you provide the output of the rcon command:
show ssldecr ciphers

If I understand it right you are trying to monitor the webplattform
of SAP and not a SAP GUI Client am I right? If not you should try the
SAP GUI Analyzer.

The CAS reports will show "All other operations"
if there are no operations that match the HTTP format (for a Software
Service defined with HTTP or HTTPs Analyzer).

On the other hand:
which version are you using? Maybe you should try autodiscovery and have
a look what the AMD is recognizing by itself.

Best regards,

Friederike

Hi Friederike & Chris,

The issue is solved now. We get supplied with wrong keys everytime. I have almost deployed 15 keys for this application.
This time we received appropriate key & AMD is now able to decrypt the SSL traffic.

Thanks for your support & suggestions.

Akshay
