We are working with DCRUM 12.4.12.
We're trying to identify username from IP but we don't get.
We've defined software services and configured it captured the username which it's supposed to travel in the POST but the username continues without identified.
This is our configuration in CAS
Thanks in advanced.
There is no information attabout your CAS configuration but if you have FE mode, it records each client IP address separately (it ignores recognized user names and reports users with IP-address resolution).
Please check the following link for all user aggregation options:
Thanks Babar for your answer.
In the link you send me it says: "User name recognition from HTTP logins must be enabled on the AMD."
Where can I enable that?
In 12.2 version, if I don't make a mistake it enabled in RUM Console > Global > Frontend > Web > HTTP, Client IP address extraction section.
But in 12.4.12 version this option doesn't appear. How can I do that?
Thanks in advance.
Absolutely Right !!!
The enhanced method of extracting and processing user identification for HTTP can be configured globally for all HTTP software services configured on AMDs set to work in HTTP Mode, or it can be configured for a specific user-defined software service on the User Name Recognition tab.
