We are enabling the second port on our AMD to deal with some gigamon infrastructure changes, and are not seeing traffic being captured on the second port. Does each capture port have its own instance of the drivers in memory? Is there anything special to get the AMD to acknowledge both ports?

A second NIC interface does not require a second instance of the shared memory driver.
However, all sniffing NICs must use the same driver to use the custom drivers. If NICs with different drivers must be used, you also must use the native drivers.
Did you turn the additional interface on as a sniffing interface in rtminst?
