Is it possible to have 2 x AMD servers, one per data center, talk to one single CAS server?

We currently have Dynatrace setup and working in one data center that has one CAS and one AMD server. We are looking to get our second data center configured as well. Is it possible to set up a second AMD server and have that AMD server talk to the same CAS server? We would like to have a single pane of glass.

Hey Paul,

You can definitely hook that AMD from your second data center up to your original CAS. That would be the preferred configuration, actually. After you've deployed the AMD in your second data center, just add it to your devices in the RUM Console like usual and then change your CAS configuration to assign that second data center AMD as a data source. Then you'll have both AMDs reporting into that one CAS!

(Small hint: When reporting, if you'd like to break apart the AMDs to see which data is where, AMDs are called Links in DC RUM. So, if you add the Link Name metric, you'll split your data set by AMD)
