Migrating from OpenSSl to SSL Acelerator card (Ncipher)

Hi all,

the acelerator card, ncipher, it was installed on AMD and it is working well

In order to change the AMD software from OpenSSL (upgrade-amd-amdos5-x86_64-ndw-12-01-02-0074-b001.bin) to SSL acelerator Ncipher, is it only to execute the binary related to Ncipher (upgrade-amd_ncipher_pkcs11-amdos5-x86_64-ndw-12-01-02-0074-b001.bin)?

Or may I have to execute any other procedure?

tks

Reginald,

In such situation when you don't change the version number you need to backup config and SSL keys, uninstall the softwares, delete particular directory, reinstall and revert the config/keys.

But there is much easier version. Just get 12.1 SP3 in nCipher version and simply install it. The upgrade will do everything for you.
