Not able to find new created users in CAS reports

We are using version: 2017 May SP1 build: 17.1.70

We added new user in Rum console, assigned the user group and permission like we previous done in version 12.4.6

I cannot find the new user (limuel) that I have created, I searched in "Manage reports" Users - Other users.

I think the user has to have logged into the CAS once before they become visible.

Has the user logged in?

Hi Alasdair,

Our active user will login via LDAP, other local account is created to have email address so we can assign for sending reports to them. These local accounts wont need to login. But since you questioned this, I login for these local account that I just created and now it shown in the manage report - users.

Previously we did not have to login once for these local account and able to see on manage report - users. Is this because version 2017 require this or because we enabled password policy. FYI, we only enable password policy around few month ago.

Hi Yee Heng, I've discussed the issue with our CAS developers, and they've confirmed that CAS reports show only these users that logged in at least once.
There is no easy way around it - the fix would require redesign of user synchronization between console and CAS.

Thanks, will take it as from DCRUM 2017 onward require login once for new user to sync and display on manage reports - user.
