Hi Antonio,

The dump file is created based on tcpdump, not necessarily to the AMD version.

So if you haven't a big difference between the RHEL version, you shouldn't have any issue in use tcpreplay in the other probe.

Hi,

are different versions 5.9 and 5.10. Can I have comapatibility problems tcpreplay?

Thanks.

I don't believe so... I could use tcpreplay in a pcap file recorded in a probe with RHEL 6.5 to another probe running RHEL 5.11.

Best regards.

Hi,

when I launch the tcpreplay the following errors :

Unable to send packet : Error with PF_PACKET send () message to long (errno = 90)

Can you help me ?

Thanks.

Hi Antonio,

I never had this issue, but doing a quick research, looks like it can be related to size of MTU. Take a look in this link.

Also, can you tell me how you are using the command? Generally I use with the sintax:

tcpreplay --preload-pcap --intf1=<your_interface> --loop 1 --stats=2 <your_pcap_file>

Hi,

I use the following command: tcpreplay –ieth1 RAM-SS-DPNI-VIP-FE.cap

Thanks.

Using your command with my pcap file, I got the same message as you. Not sure why... Try to execute:

tcpreplay --preload-pcap --intf1=eth1 --loop 1 --stats=2

RAM-SS-DPNI-VIP-FE.cap
