Proxy Login on IE

I have a script tests a Web Portal through a proxy.

I have created logic on my code to fill in the credentials whenever the proxy authentication screen appears. However I have found that when the proxy login window appears (and is filled out by the script), the following step that is a WaitForTextOCR fails. When the authentication window does not appear, the script runs fine. What should I do for this check still work?

@Igor S.

Hi Igor,

I’d recommend that you consider one of the following two
approaches:

1. Using Whenever
method.

2.Using JustInCaseWait
or JustInCaseWaitForText
function.

The first approach is more universal and can be used in
scenarios when the “irregular” GUI object (in your case the proxy login window)
can appear anytime during the script execution. The second approach assumes that there is certain point (or several known
points) where such element can appear. The advantage of the second approach is that it allows to have a script
whose logic is easier to understand.

Hope this helps.

Thank you,

Yuriy
