Regular Loss Rate Pattern - What does it mean?

I'm in the process of analyzing collected data for a POC wrap-up and discovered an interesting loss rate pattern. This is an aggregate report of all servers but drill-down to specific servers reveal the same pattern for most servers.

The regular jumps (shown in the orange line chart) is loss rate. This occurs like clockwork every day. I don't have an explanation for this.

Has anyone seen this type of behavior before? Does anyone have theories about what might cause something like this to happen? What other metrics would be helpful to show with this report?

THANKS!

Gavin

Hi Gavin,

I looked at your report config.   You have Analyzer a Row along with Time,  but Analyzer is hidden in the results display section of your report config.     This is causing this behavior in the chart.     Remove Analyzer from your report definition and you will see the desired results of overall server loss rate.

Thanks,

Mike
