I see a yellow triangle with the following message
Shrink tmpdb and db transaction log (works only on MS SQL Server) execution failed at 11/15/2013 03:00
This case already has a post prior to version 11, I'm using version 12.1
but the solution uses the sa account.
by bank security policies, the dba will not let me do anything with the sa account
Tools-> Diagnostics-> Console
DB SET SUPERUSER sa <sa_user_password>
with the account "delta" that was assigned to the CAS database
but the event was not resolved
The delta user won't resolve the issue since it usually does not have access to do a DB shrink. Typically, this is a function of the "syadmin" role in the SQL server and the delta user is not assigned that role and should NOT be assigned this role as this will override the delta schema and mess up the CAS DB.
If your DBA will not allow the use of the sa account, can they create a separate account that has a sysadmin role which can then be used on the CAS?
If the DBA does not accept creating and using any other sysadmin account, then you can disable this task on the CAS and the DBA will have to manage the shrink tempdb and CAS transaction log themselves.
