Small AMD in DCRUM 2017

Hello,

Back in DCRUM 12.3/12.4? there were "small AMD's" or "AMD Expresses". Do these still exist in 2017? Where can I find the documentation on this and the requirements?

Thanks and God bless,
Genesius

Hello Genesius,

I guess this concept has been changed in the release 2017 after introducing the High Speed AMD which is capable to processing throughput with the different traffic profiles e.g. up to 0.5, 5, and 20 Gbps of the transactional TCP analysis.

The table presents performance estimates for selected AMD decodes in the below link.

The L and M hardware uses custom sniffing NIC driver for the dual-port 10 Gbps interfaces based on Intel 82599 chipset (ixgbe driver). The S hardware uses native Linux sniffing NIC driver.

Thanks for the info.

I have 10 PC's, which used to be NetworkVantage 10.x probes, that did fit the specs for AMD Express. Now I need to determine if they fit the spec for AMD S specification, and if it is worth it. Is there a matrix available comparing NV to AMD S?

Thanks and God bless
