Unique users count doesn't match with my alerts set for certain threshold in CAS reporting. Can I consider Unique user metric for my application availability vs errors report?

Hello Murali,

I guess you can use the below metrics to create an alert for the testing purpose and later on can decide whether you should use or not.

  • Affected users (availability) The number of unique users that were affected by the availability problems.
  • Affected users (network) The number of unique users that experienced network performance problems.

Regards,

Babar

Thank you for the suggestions.

I'm already using those metrics, but they all return the same count (unique users/affected user-availability & network).

Also, I have an issue with percentage of affected user breakdown metric on which i'm unable to click it( i mean it is not showing any action on clicking the breakdown bar - Is it a bug?)

Can you please post screenshots which will help us to understand the issue better? Also, post a screenshot of the alert config. Thanks.
