Use regular expressions in RUM filter

carlos_chang

I'd like to filter operation name, specific pattern included, others don't.

Also aggregate their request count, slow operation ...etc,

So it would be easy when regular expression works.

I'm using RUM 12.3.4.18, is there a way that I can achieve my purpose?

There is no regexes in DMI, but using asterisks should work (you can use it multiple times: *google* | *yahoo*😞

Then base on Show as setting you can hide the operation names and number will be aggregated as in second section:

Got your point, thanks for your reply.

I'm confused about specify http header parameter by RUM

I've capture payload in header by DNA

And I'd like to put a specific parameter(ex:contentVodID),value on RUM and make it a dimension,

How can I do that?

Hello,

You can use this configuration witth :

Start (Expand) if you want to cath the value of the parameter (contentVodID=296)

or Start, if you want only the parameter contentVodID without value.
