I am curious to what type of content the HTTP "Response Size" includes in it's value? Is it just HTML/txt content type if that is the only content type that is enabled? Therefore, not including the size of page components like images (gif, jpg, jpeg, etc) and css?
Perhaps ADS is the only way to understand true page size/response size?
Solved! Go to Solution.
The HTTP Response Size metric is available only in ADS, in the Operations Element Data view. It shows the response size for individual hits/components.
Such metric is not available on CAS nor ADS Operations Data view. On CAS you can only see the overall page size, including page components (like css or images). In order to see the HTML size for a particular page on ADS you need to drill down to the Operations Element Data view and refer to the Response Size metric for the page's base hit.
