Why does my publish configuration hang?

My publish configuration (to CAS) hangs, using 12.4.1

Henk,

it seems to me an HTTP error due to some reason (unreachable,unaccessible, etc.).

If you're not aware of any connection issues between RUM Console and CAS, I suggest you to open a support case if the problem is persisting.

what device is10.70.165.253:81 ? (looks like a CAS?)

Correct it is a CAS, Console and CAS run on the same box,

I think the issue related to a very busy DDCRUM environment and a long site list. I cut the site list in to smaller chunk's and this worked for me.
