centOS 6.5 for AMD

Would it be possible to install AMD (latest version 12.3.3) on a centOS platform? I have tried it on a virtual machine with centOS 6.5 and it installed successfully but I want to make sure that it will function well. Any rigid word on that?

It will work, but it's not supported in the meaning that if Development will find out that there are some problems due to having CentOS nit RHEL they won;t be able to help with it.

Hello Adam, is there any particular reason why the team decided to not support CentOS as well? Technically CentOS is just a community build version of RHEL so they should pretty much be the same software.

There are subtle, but important differences. We can't declared "supported" anything that hasn't been tested. We decided to standardize on a single OS version to keep our resources focused on delivering product core functionality support to existing and new customers - instead of expanding platform m support to corner cases. This assures that the engineering effort is focused on expanding product value that we sell to our customers.
