Hi,

Anyone know how to automate the server cache limit in CAS, so in future if the value exceeded it will trigger alert/email as captured.

Thanks,

Munawar

Munawar,

I think you should take a look at Inoperability of reporting server module alarm in RUM Console that is capable to detect changes of entries from http://CAS/modulestatus table that has Shown as health check status set to Yes.

It looks like setting a filter on module = Memory should do the trick. It will notify you on any problems related to items with Module name = Memory on http://CAS/modulestatus table.

Hi Munawar.

Just a note - Don't follow the easy way and adjust the numbers upward as this will unavoidably lead you into problems later.

Instead - try to figure out what has changed and what is driving the server cache to increase.

See Server cache limit has exceeded

Hi Ulf,

Your URL information more informative because we also need to know what is pros and cons if we changes the value, thanks.

Below is the current informaion from http://cas/modulestatus, any suggestion that we can extract those information to report. thanks.

Hi,

Is there anyway to receive alerts before the value exceed the limit? As we will like to adjust the cache value before the limit is reached. Thanks.
