Hi!

I had configured software service with oracledb analyzer. I also added several IP clients for this service. For some of them i don t see network performance metric. Any idea why it can happen? How can i see each of them?

Dmitry

Hi Dmitry,

could you please provide us (if you can) a DMI Report for the selected Software Service showing the network-related metrics like:

Loss Rate and RTT (both Client and Server)

Ciao, Raffaele

Was your problem resolved? I am having a similar situation.

Hi @Mikhail Akimov,

the Network performance metric needs the baselines of RTT and Loss Rate, probably you don't have those baselines calculated yet. As you can see from the docs:

"In every reporting interval, the configured KPIs are evaluated against their thresholds (..). For CAS, these thresholds are equal to the network site's average values of RTT and loss rate for all of the business days within the past 10 elapsed calendar days, increased by a predefined factor."

I suggest you to take a look at these two pages from the official docs about the Network Performance calculations and configuration:

https://community.dynatrace.com/community/display/...

https://community.dynatrace.com/community/display/...

Hope it helps.

Ciao, Raffaele

Hi,

Can you please check if the client and the server (for which there is no network performance data available) are in the same site? I don't think CAS calculates network performance for clients and servers in the same site?

Hope this helps,

Harshal.
