rtm watchdog issue

Hello,

I have a problem with "rtm watchdog process" that doesn't start with a fresh installation (AMD 12.4.12). At the moment the interface configuration is set only with communication port.

Could depends about the missing capture port or the fault is other ?

Thanks

Giuseppe

That is correct, without a correctly configured communications interface and a correctly configured sniffing interface, rtm is expected to fail to start; both are required.

Hello Erik,

thanks for the answer. I was suspecting that, therefore I configured the sniffing port but without active link (wiring still in progress).

Restarting the probe, RTM Watchdog process doesn't start.

Can you please share the rtm.log? /usr/adlex/log/rtm.log

Thanks,

Harshal.

hello Harshal, I will try to get it, but is not easy the only way to access on AMD is a secured vpn.

thanks,

Giuseppe

The rtm.log cannot be copied so I have took the relevant ones (I hope they are useful)

Thanks in advanced,

Looks like it got truncated 😞

perhaps opening a ticket for this would be better; I don't see anything in the log fragment that indicates either a shutdown or a crassh
