Dear All,
How can we alert in case of any disk/mountpoint is unavailable from a particular host/host group?

Babar

You can create a custom metric for something like disk usage and configure it to report even in case of No Data — that’s what I did in my Azure environment. It works great!

Hello @radek_jasinski
I appreciate your feedback regarding the workaround solution. I have identified that the Filesystem monitoring extension includes a metric labeled "Mount point: Is a mount point mounted on Unix NFS." I am currently working on this and will provide an update here once the alert is properly configured.

OK, I’ll wait to hear from you.

Hello @radek_jasinski
We end up with the same solution as the Filesystem monitoring extension did not work as expected.

it really surprising that disk availability which is basic/common monitoring not available in Dynatrace.
monitoring disk usage datapoint, may report temporary mount point alert which is unnecessary overhead to disable after unmount.
Monitoring tool should compare currently mounted FS and configured in fstab and report it is NOT available
