AppMon & Dynatrace Integration configuration via Security GW

Hi,

I'm trying to configure the AppMon to Dynatrace integration and need to know the correct security gateway endpoint to add into the "Security Gateway URL" field under Settings -> Dynatrace Servers -> Integration -> Edit Environment in AppMon (see attachment).

The endpoint that I had initially set (above) appears to test successfully as I get a 200 response returned, however I notice exceptions appearing in the 'DynatraceMeasureExport' log when AppMon attempts to export the associated measures:

com.google.protobuf.InvalidProtocolBufferException: Message missing required fields: maximumAllowed, currentlyRegistered
at com.google.protobuf.UninitializedMessageException.asInvalidProtocolBufferException(UninitializedMessageException.java:81)

Any pointers appreciated.

Are you using SaaS or Managed? and have you applied any update fix pack to AppMon?

Hi Andrew - we are using SaaS and are on AppMon Fixpack 7.1.2.1034. I have already read up on how to export the metrics, the issue is the error I mentioned.

I would suggest you raise a ticket with Support, as this is a very specific issue. Furthermore,

Update 3 was just releases with two further resolved fixes to the integration:

'Provide more meaningful error messages in the AppMon -> Dynatrace metric export "Test Connection" button'

'Reduce performance impact of measure export from AppMon to Dynatrace by reducing the object churn'
