Hi Team,
The customer has requested to enable Davis Copilot (LLM). However, to proceed, we require permission access for Copilot. Currently, I am unable to see Copilot listed in the permissions section.
Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?
Thank you for your support.

Hi,
u can check here:
Dynatrace-Policy-Manager
or directly use this policy manager:
policy-manager
you just need to select the appropriate permissions
and you recive policy definition:

Hi @t_pawlak ,
Thank you for the suggestion. I have created the policies with the permissions you mentioned and assigned them to the user group. However, I am still facing the same issue, which states that I don’t have access to Copilot Chat.

Hi,
in this case, IAM permissions alone are not sufficient.
The first mandatory step is to enable Generative AI (Davis Copilot) at the environment level.
If Generative AI is not enabled, Copilot Chat will not be available to any user — regardless of assigned policies.
Then:
Only after Generative AI is enabled on the environment, make sure the user groups have the required Copilot IAM permissions, as described in the official documentation:
https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/discover-dynatrace/platform/davis-ai/copilot/copilot-getting-started...
Key required permissions include:
If Generative AI is disabled at the environment level, users will always receive a “no access to Copilot Chat” message, even when IAM policies are configured correctly.
