Hi,
We are currently doing a POC, and we have the following situation:
We have an application (the default My web application renamed). At least three services of this application connects to an Oracle db. When you open the smartscape starting from "Applications" left panel item, the database is shown with an highlighted arrow from the service (database is the one inside the green box). Two days ago, a response time degradation occurred in the database. However, the associated problems related to this situation did not show a visual resolution path for the problem. What is the reason of this (not having a visual resolution path)? What is needed for a resolution path to be available in a problem?
Thanks in advance.

The reason is that the application did not detect a baseline violation, which means there was no statistical evidence for real user impact. What we show within the Business impact section is that at least 4 real users were coming from that app whose transactions were ending up in your database. Dynatrace would have shown a visual resolution path including the application if a slowdown within the 50th or 90th percentile was detected on the application side (which was not the case in your example).
