Does Cassandra monitoring require installation of OneAgent on Cassandra nodes?

Hello,

We recently added Cassandra cluster to our environment but it does not show up on "Technologies" page. I've read this article https://www.dynatrace.com/news/blog/introducing-ca... but it is still unclear to me whether we need to install OneAgend on Cassandra nodes.

Yes you need to.

the other option is to write a plugin that remotely queries JMX for metrics you are interested in.
