Host groups modifications implies process restarts to update on process groups?

Hi all,

We have a host with a defined host group X. The processes running on this host are grouped into a process group X determined in part by the host group X of the host. When we modify host X on this host by Y, we see that a process restart is necessary so that the process group also updates to Y. Is this behavior normal? Can we avoid having to restart processes again?

Host group isn't something that should be modify so often. I don't think there is option to avoid restart.
