Is there a way to add users without setting up an SMTP server?

Hi Kyle just an update - this has not yet been addressed in the product. This is not a simple case to solve as we need to help users to go right way - set up a valid SMTP server before inviting users.

I'll let you know when this is applied to the product.

Was this issue fixed, please? Facing same issue today. Have to deploy an offline cluster and apparently we can't create any users without an SMTP.

Being that this ticket is several years old, at this point I would recommend putting in a Request for Feature
