Issue with data visibility after java upgrade

Hi everyone,

 

Since upgrading to java 8, I've been experiencing an issue where data is not visible for a specific application in the applications tab. The dashboard still shows data, but nothing appears in the specific application view.

 

When I run a health check and select run injection diagnostics, I get the message that "Java script injection is unsuccessful". No changes have been made to the dynatrace configuration or the application detection URL.

 

Does anyone know why this might be happening or how to fix it? Thanks.

Hello @ele30 

Regarding the raised concern:

  • Process restart is recommended.
  • Ensure the Oneagent  java features are enabled as per the current monitoring setup.
  • Under deep monitoring > Enable " Real-time update for java services" 
  • "Application servers" Under host monitoring > Advanced settings > Ensure the process auto-injection is enabled.
  • Validate the Real user monitoring is enabled properly on the monitored process groups.
