Mix SAML groups and custom groups?

On this link it says you can either control groups manually or automatically.

Is it possible to do both at the same time?

Say the SAML responses you have does not provide for all the groups you require, is it then possible to have groups in Dynatrace Managed that users can be added to as well?

This is not supported. The idea is to have just the one place where the user is assign to the groups.

The concept of mixed assignment can be taken into account in our plans.
