Hi Team

Is there any way to monitor the ftm_mle_agent process and it should throw a problem alert when it is not running.

Hello @prashanth_k9995

First of all:

  • If have configured Host group to group the related set of hosts under the same name which serving the same purpose.
  • It will be easy to formulate the Process groups, so you feel free to proceed with one of the below options:
    • Deployment status > Oneagents > filter by Host group > you will find the highlighted process > Settings > Deep monitoring > Monitoring state = "Monitor"
    • To receive alerts upon unavailability > Availability Monitoring > Enable process group availability monitoring > select either one of the available options "If any process becomes unavailable"  or "If minimum thresholds is not met"
  • For separate host configuration or Host group configuration > Settings > Process group monitoring > Add process group >  select the required process from the Drop down menu.
  • Keep the monitoring state to "Monitor", save changes.
  • Follow the previously mentioned procedures for process availability alerting.

Hoping it adds value.

KR,

Peter.
