Hello All,

Best wishes for 2026!!

It is a well known issue that Dynatrace does not like competitors (-;

... so oneAgent likes to overrule the COR_ENABLE_PROFILING set by other vendors....

Does anybody know if this only happens with FULL-STACK and DISCOVERY and not for INFRA mode?

And is there a better work-around than disable the OA?

Hi Henk,

Best wishes to you too!

Firstly: since you can opt-in AppSec on Infrastructure mode, I guess the code repositories and processes will somehow be affected here as well.

Haven't tried this myself but since the COR_ENABLE_PROFILING is set for .NET at startup, have you tried disabling the monitoring of .NET processes and / or  disabling the agent injection in the host group / host setting?

Like I said, not 100% sure but it's worth a try. I'm guessing the other competitor get's privilege over Dynatrace in your scenario so hopefully you can still get Infrastructure mode or Discovery working?

Best regard,
Michiel
