Per queue metrics ActiveMQ

ActiveMQ metrics are presented/given on node (process) level - e.g. queue metrics such as queue length. If/when several queues are running on the node, metrics per queue would be a lot more useful. Is this supported today? If yes; how do I view per queue Active MQ metrics?

I was trying to find the same thing today but was not successful. We have a more specific use case where we want to monitor the dead letter queue (DLQ) and set a threshold on it.

I've created a JMX/PMI-plugin that monitors different queues -> works fine. However I haven't seen any way to set a threshold on metrics fetched by plugins.
