Hi,

In the case of Synthetic of Dynatrace, it seems that the each runs is done at a fixed time.
ex: 11:11, 11:26, 11:41, 11:56, 12:11 ...
Is it expected behavior? If so, why?

In the case of Synthetic Classic, the each of the runs is not done at a fixed time.
For example, if the 1st run is at 10:00 and the interval is 15 min, the 2nd run becomes usually at about 10:16or17. Because of the 2nd run is scheduled when the 1st run is complete.

I think the old behavior is important to cover all time range of one hour.

Hi @Noah K.,

yes, we do schedule Synthetic monitors with a fixed interval (the one you configured)
So if you choose a 15min as a frequency & 1 location, a monitor run will be started every 15min.

For example if the first run is at 10:00 it will also run at 10:15, 10:30, 10:45, 11:00 etc.
If the first run is at 10:08 it will also run at 10:23, 10:38, 10:53, 11:08 etc.

Why do you think this might be a problem?
