What is the Sample column in the R.T. Hotspot view?

Hi,

Recently a customer asked us what is displayed in the column Sample in the Response time hotstop view. See the image.

The documentation for this view (https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/platform-modules/applications-and-microservices/services/anal...) says:

"The Sample count column shows how many times the class/method was executed for the service during the selected timeframe."

This is not true, because we checked with the customer and the method involved was called only once for request. Could anyone bring some light to his question? Is it the amount of samples collected for the transaction analyzed?

@Antonio V. are you still experiencing this problem? the method hotspots was revamped and no longer shows sample counts on the chart. It might have been a bug hence the revision.
