Which metrics are statistical summaries?

In Dynatrace, CPU usage is for instance a statistical summary. Values given for a minute are derived from the average of six measurements, and in Data Explorer you can graph min, avg and max values for each minute.

Just wondering what other metrics are also summaries, and how do you use them with this additional potential?

is this in reference to single value chartings? Dynatrace has values for each minute and if you graph them you should see each segment for 1 min granularity, moving to single value, your time frame can only be 5min or greater so  i can see the values as being the average across the time frame of 5 mins. 

Or are you stating that a value for a 1 min frequency is from the value at each 0.1667 seconds within the given min?

For CPU usage, for instance, you can graph min,avg,max values for each minute, as shown below. Since Dynatrace gets 6 measurements per minute, one can create a graph that show the interval of variation in each minute:
