same here, using Datastage - can it be monitored on Dynatrace?

Datastage person says that OSH process on linux is the "workers". from Dynatrace prespective we see it as "other".

any chance anyone had done it before and has a clue what to do?

It’s always worth a shot to see if oneAgent will monitor the app. You can also always go with the agent less solution. Also if Dynatrace doesn’t pick up the process as you intended, you can always define one manually in the UI.

Hi @Chad T.

Thanks for your input !!!

Those ETL platforms are usually running step by step operations and customer would like to check if there is a way to monitor the steps, so as you said we gave it a try and its look like that the steps are run by process that dynatrace mark as "other" so the question is if someone check what is behind the "other" in order to say we can not monitor server side of IBM DataStage . For your agent less suggestion, this is not the case here as there is no UI that need to be monitor only server side.

Did you find a solution for this using Dynatrace?  We have a rather large DataStage implementation and having a solution would be very beneficial.

The same issue here, Datastage is involved in a large part of our system and we would appreciate to use Deep  monitoring on it!
