oneagent installation - switch Layer 3 and Firewal

Hello everyone, I need to know if you can install oneagent on a switch layer 3  and a firewall with the following characteristics.

• switch layer 3

Cisco ASR1001-X

Version 17.06.03a

• Firewal

Fortigate 501E

v7.0.14 build0601 (Mature)

Hello @extsabr, you can't install oneagent. But you have extensions for:

with the extensions you can configure it to have observability.

Thanks for highlighting benefits of  snmp traps

It's better to proceed with Generic network devices instead of snmp traps, as provides more insights than the snmp.

Dynatrace Oneagent can be installed on the supported technologies described in DT Doc:

• https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/ingest-from/technology-support/oneagent-platform-and-capability-supp...

As long as the required technologies can't be monitored via Oneagent Deployment directly, You can proceed with searching Dynatrace Hub for the required technology as it supports 650 + remote technologies via extensions where the deployment of Oneagent isn't an option:
