does anyone know if there is a way of "acknowledging" a problem through the Problem API ? I have a situation where a problem gets created in DT, then updates a Service Assurance platform via Webhook. Once that call gets "acknowledged" on that system can I change the state of the call on Dynatrace using the Problem API. I can see that a we can change/add comments with a PUT but is that all?
I believe in Dynatrace, posting a comment is equivalent to acknowledging the problem. The dependency correlation prevents you from being spammed with multiple alerts but we don't want the problem to be remove until it is resolved. You can use the API to post a comment explaining that the problem was acknowledged in your Service Assurance Platform and will be resolved soon.
