RUM monitoring in SASE environments?

I'm in the process of evaluating User Experience in web applications in SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) environments. The idea is to figure out which of two SASE vendors are the best for one particular application. I will leverage Dynatrace RUM and eventually extensions to figure this out, but was just wondering if someone has done something like this before?
