Dynatrace Managed - Increasing log ingestion limits per minute.

Having cluster admin privileges, Dynatrace administrator can increase the limit of ingested log events per minute into Dynatrace.

• CMC > Home > Environments > select the intended environment where the limit will be increased.
• Cluster overload prevention settings > Maximum ingest of log events per minute.
• Specify the limit as per cluster nodes computing resources > save.

Refresh cluster limit.

This is a sweet find, do you know if this would cause any implications or issues within the given environment where the log ingestion limit is increased?

Hi @iamcarlson,

I do not think so. The limit is calculated based on the cluster resources (mainly its memory). I you want you can add the whole cluster limit to only one environment. The cluster can handle safely the calcuated limit. It is a self defence against over load.

Yes sure this will impact the cluster,

You should be careful with this, study your cluster configuration before: CPU, Memory...

And check your storage also.
