Is there an ability for a synthetic to assume a kiam role to acquire credentials?

If not, is this on the roadmap?

We require an ability to acquire credentials locally from a trusted source, ideally using kiam role to interact with the local vault.

If the activeGate is installed on an EC2 with role credentials, would the synthetic engine be able to use the credentials directly or through pre-scripts?
