Synthetic monitors for environments accessible through VMware Horizon Client

Hi guys,

We have some environments accessible only through VMware Horizon Client and we would like to set up some synthetic monitors there.

Is there a way to achieve this?

I've not tried it but it looks like there is a Web Client, so it could be access via Chrome Browser. In which case, I would give it a go.

Thanks for your reply.

Actually this is the approach I've tried yesterday, but the problem with that is we get a remote desktop within a browser. So if I open a browser within the remote desktop and I navigate to the desired url, the dom is not accessible from dynatrace as it just sees the remote desktop.

Yeah, if the DOM is inaccessible within the remote desktop then it's likely we won't be able to interact with it. Is it possible to get some sample html from that page?

Checked the dom.

It is a canvas, so whatever is opened within the 'remote desktop' it is just an image :(.
