Include more details in problem

Hello All,

Is there a way to add more details to problems where as an example a "Multiple infrastructure problems " problem is created which includes two disks on a same host that are running low on space . When the problem is triggered it only includes the below detail as "2 disks" instead of the including the disk/partition names.

Is it possible to add those details?

Thanks

Hi @p_devulapalli,

You can add entities in the notification:

Or you can create an metric event, which can be extended with entity details and in this case the entities will be listed in the Problem view also:

I hope it helps.

Hi @Mizső

Thanks for the reply, when we use the {ImpactedEntity} or the others it actually displays the host that is impacted by the problem but not the details of the disks that are running on low disk space . What I am after is the details of the disk.

When a problem is generated for a single disk it does show the partition info, but when DT raises a""Multiple infrastructure problems " with two disks it does not display the detail as expected

thanks,

Hi @p_devulapalli, did you manage to solve this problem? 🙂

@GosiaMurawska , yes use of Anomaly Detector app helps to get around these issues up to some extent,  we have a bit more flexibility to customize the event template based on the need and display the required information
