If I tie a browser monitor to an application can I use the App's anomaly detection rules to create slowdown alerts for that browser monitor or must I use the 'Performance Thresholds' settings in the synthetic transaction?
Thanks

Hi Jordan,
I believe slowdown alerts for Applications are different than Synthetic Monitors so you would have to use the Performance Thresholds settings in the Synthetic Monitors to do what you need.
Thanks,

Hi Ari, thanks for the response. I wanted to make sure I'm giving my customers the correct info. I think it would be nice to have the same sort of global controls for groups of synthetic monitors' performance threshold alerts.

No problem. For mass edits, I would recommend using the Synthetic Monitors API, which can be used to edit anomaly detection as well -> https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/dynatrace-api/environment-api/synthetic/synthetic-monitors/pu...
