From my reading, the Azure OMS agent is required for monitoring, much like OneAgent. I believe the OMS Agent deploys rsyslog or syslog (or both) which is required for the monitoring. It's also required to be there in order to configure the rsyslog with DT credentials. How do you install the OMS agent on an App Service for Linux?

@Bill S. Dynatrace Announced at Perform 2020 that all Azure Services will be Supported/Monitored This will include Azure logs as well! It is slated for a Q2 release so keep an eye open for it.
