Your forum profile is based on the information you provided when you joined the Dynatrace Community.

To view your profile page, click your user icon at the top right of any page and select Profile.

Default information

Your profile page shows other members this information by default:

  • Display name, as defined in your Dynatrace Community profile
  • Date joined and date/time of your last forum activity
  • Your description, if you've added one
  • Your reputation points, the number of people following you, the number of people you're following, and your percentage of "correct" answers (answers accepted as the "Best Answer")
  • Activity in the Open Q&A forums: questions, answers to questions, comments to questions
  • Tag interests: topic tags you're following
  • Badges you've received. Hover over a badge to see its meaning

Your email address is displayed when you view your own profile page, but it is not displayed to other members.

Information you can add or update

  • About Me - Click the Edit button to add or update the information you want other members to know about you, for example your job title and areas of expertise.
  • User Icon - You can upload a photo from your computer to replace the default icon. The uploaded image should be at least 240x240 pixels. The image will be scaled to the icon size.
  • Details - To display the Details screen, click Edit next to your name on the profile page, or click your user icon and select My Preferences. You cannot change your username, or email address or Real Name, which are associated with your Dynatrace Community account. You can, however, add or edit the other details:
    • Company - Optional, blank by default
    • Website - Optional, blank by default
    • Location - Optional, blank by default
    • Date of birth - Optional, blank by default

Expertise Settings

The Expertise Settings tab on the My Preferences page lists the topic tags that identify your areas of expertise. Tags that you've frequently used are matched to you automatically. You can also manually add tags to your profile.

To view your expertise settings, click the Edit button next to your name on your profile page, and select Expertise Settings.
