What are the options of getting full visibility in Kubernetes?

Hi All,

We are monitoring a server that has OS type Linux, but in that server many containers are present. Dynatrace is suggesting using Kubernetes Monitoring to get full visibility. Should we need to deploy the Oneagent on the Kubernetes cluster to get full visibility, or is there any other way to do that?

Please suggest possible options to get full visibility in Kubernetes.

Regards,

Gauresh

Hi @gauresh_shinde

I think the best option to use the dyntrace operator for the full visibilty, I recommend the classic full stack. Get started with Kubernetes/OpenShift monitoring | Dynatrace Docs

But there is another option too, you can connect to the public api endpoint of your kubernetes cluster. But in this case you will have limited information.

Connect your Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters to Dynatrace | Dynatrace Docs

I hope is helps.
