Using luster ActiveGate as reverse proxy to access Dynatrace dashboard

Hi Dynatrace,

just wondering, is it feasible to configure Cluster ActiveGate to be a reverse proxy so that the dashboard can be published through it?

For customers who want to publish their Dynatrace Managed on internet, and also have cluster activegate, it just seems to be quite an inefficiency to put both on DMZ and utilize 2 public IPs.

This is a very good idea, supporting it. However. please make it opt-in. Typically Managed customers are sensitive about access rules.

You don't have to utilize two IP addresses, normally this is achieved by using virtual hosts and certificates with SNI.

If I were to use the nginx from cluster AG to do the dashboard forwarding, will the configuration be reverted on each AG update? Any guesses?

@mengsuan_koe1  Cluster AG does not have NGNIX, just the cluster nodes have it.
