Settings API - POST objects, how many is too many?

Hi,

The body of the payload is a JSON list of settings objects. There isn't a limit documented that I can see. Apologies in advance if I've missed it in the documentation, but could I in theory post 100000 objects in one API call assuming I don't breach the post request body size limit?
