Hi All,
I want to clarify about the answer in this forum thread.
About this answer "if Dynatrace is offline for more than 14 days, all monitored hosts will be disabled." is it still possible to work in offline mode for Dynatrace Managed? because my customer is worried when the server has internet access to Dynatrace Mission Control.
Thanks,
Solved! Go to Solution.
To be precise - monitoring won’t be disabled completely - only overages.
details on all possible option here :
Hi Radoslaw,
In this article mentioned "Like Dynatrace Managed, you get all the same functionality and intelligence in our SaaS offering but not the automated support, so maintenance becomes a manual task. It’s important to note that to enable proper support for Managed Offline, we require updates to be downloaded manually."
So when I install Dynatrace Managed in offline mode (no internet access on the server), basically the all functionality of Dynatrace Managed is fine ? just can't connect to the Mission Control, and then I can't get the automated support, and rerquire updates to be downloaded manually ?
Thanks
Well yes. Additionally you don’t have access to public synthetic locations - but you can use private, and help chat.
This is not recommended and cannot be done from what I understand. See some of the following similar posts:
